While making Rococo Belle I fell in love with Natalie Dormers portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the HBO Series ‘Tudors’. She was cunning, ambitious and brave, all things I consider myself to be and I knew I wanted to make one of her costumes. I chose to go the more historical route than the TV show but still tried to use influences from color, beads etc in my build.
This costume was the first costume I shot with Alex, and it was the moment I knew I would want to work with her a ton more. We initially shot this costume in 2017 at C2E2 before competing in the Crown Championships of Cosplay. I then got accepted into the Twitchcon Cosplay Contest for this costume and although I did not win it was an amazing experience and was ultimately what solidified my choice to compete again in 2018.
